Pretty noice.
But instead of green for your bg color, you prolly should have used the colors from his cape. Reason for this is as you can see, the cape takes up so much more space than the green in his eyes.
Then you could shape up the colors with some gradient mapping.
Also it's a bad idea to leave empty space in the bg like that.
